This character is openly based on the life of my brother, Juan Andrés Stoll, who is also the main actor. (…) One of my brother’s personality traits is that he barely speaks and always seems to be self-absorbed in his own world, as if something invisible to us separated him from reality. My biggest challenge as fi lmmaker was to express that perplexity in a cinematic way, which could transmit the audience that strangeness of the character before everyday life.
This is a character whose only place in this world would be at stage where he can shout nonsense lyrics to the rhythm of two guitars, a bass, and a drum set.
