Unlike stated before, the films ANIMAL KINGDOM and DOG POUND have had to be dropped from the programme due to reasons not connected to the HIFF Ministry.

The harsh spanish prison thriller CELL 211 has been added to the programme. The film, directed by Daniel Monzón, is about the prison guard Juan Oliver's first day at worl. The day is ruined by a large-scale uprising of the prisoners. The quick-witted Juan spares his life by pretending to be a new prisoner of the cell 211. The film, which is against violence and cruel punishments in general includes numerous surprising plot twists.
