AFF - Artova Film Festival 2011
Held for the second time, Artova Film Festival will splash the silver screen with a unique collection of films rooted in the 'Artova' area (Arabianranta, Toukola, Vanhakaupunki).
The programme consists mainly of works from the film schools (ELO in the Aalto University School of Art and Design, Arcada, Metropolia, Pop & Jazz Konservatorio, Heltech AV) around Hämeentie, the Finnish Sunset Boulevard. The festival received nearly 100 short films.
The judges are Finnish film professionals: Pekko Pesonen, Paavo Westerberg, Magnus Sifvenius and Peter Westerholm. The jury will be chaired by Miikko Oikkonen.
Award-winning films will receive a special screening in HIFF. Winners will personally present their films at the screening.
