The Cove - meren salaisuus sai perjantaina dramaattisen vastaanoton R&A-festivaalilla. Täysi Bio Rexin sali osoitti seisten suosiotaan ohjaajalle ja delfiinien puolustamiselle. Ohjaaja Louie Psihoyos matkusti Helsingistä maanataina 21.9. Pariisiin elokuvan ensiesitykseen, johon paikalle oli lupautunut myös Luc Besson.

Psihoyos kirjoitti terveisensä Rakkautta & Anarkiaa -festivaaliyleisölle, jossa hän kiitti elokuvan saamasta kiinnostuksesta ja huomiosta:

“Louie Psihoyos, director of The Cove here to say thanks again to all of your supporters for screening my organization's movie at The Helsinki Film Fest - Love & Anarchy at Bio Rex.

Because of International pressure from audiences taking action and writing to the Japanese Ambassador, and signing the petition - the film seems to be working. Right now there is a "no slaughter" policy at the cove. However this is temporary and if your audience wants to take action to help a permanent ban, please go to www.thecovemovie.com and click on "Take Action" and sign our petition.

It's important that as many voices are heard from as many different countries as possible so the new Japanese government feels this is a truly worldwide outcry.
